| Regional Growth & Impact Highlights Revolving Loan Fund Program We are in the final stages of launching our new Revolving Loan Fund (RLF) aimed at supporting regional businesses and spurring community development. This fund will provide accessible capital to help local enterprises grow and thrive. Two Rivers Land Bank Authority (TRLBA) The TRLBA continues to make significant strides in acquiring, managing, and repurposing vacant, abandoned, and foreclosed properties, in alignment with IHDA’s Strong Communities Grant (Adams County), as well as the existing TRLBA covered area. Recent Success: Several parcels in Quincy and Jacksonville have been sold, contributing to the ongoing revitalization of key neighborhoods. Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS) Work is underway on a CEDS to position our region for strategic funding opportunities focused on economic and community development. We are finalizing an application for short-term planning funds from the EDA and currently awaiting guidance on the next steps. Rental Housing Support Program The Rental Housing Support Program is experiencing steady growth, with a consistent influx of new clients. We have also been awarded a grant that designates us as the administrative lead, enhancing our role and impact within the program. Regional Engagement & Grant Strategy Engagement efforts are ongoing with counties and boards across the TRRC region to identify upcoming grant opportunities. These strategic discussions are critical to securing funding that will drive forward several key regional initiatives. |
| Energy-Saving Help Available for Brown County Residents If you’re a Brown County resident interested in making your home more energy-efficient, now is a great time to take action. Our Weatherization program currently has open intake slots and is ready to help you make improvements that can enhance comfort and reduce utility costs. For residents of Pike and Schuyler Counties, the next opportunity is just around the corner — applications will open in August, so stay tuned for more information.
